Frenzy “Quickie” on Dashciti

Frenzy, Nigerian Afro Pop artist, pulled through to our studio the other day for a “Quickie” on DASHCITI.

The Ibadan born rapper turned singer shared the type of message he stands to pass with his music. He talked about his background and how it reflects in his music amongst other things. In this quickie session, he shed a little light on staying true to who you are as an artist; he said “I believe by being me, by talking about me people are gon love because you can’t be me“.

Frenzy also shared how much he believes in African Music and African sound generally after which he blessed the Dashciti Microphone in a freestyle session handled by DJ Biggie.

John Oluwafemi popularly known by his stage name Frenzy is a Nigerian Afro Pop Artist and song writer, He grew up in Ibadan, Oyo State.
His love for music started at a young age, using music as an escape mechanism. Inspired by the likes of Ebenezer obey, King sunny Ade, who made evergreen music, he too aspires to be the best Afro Pop Artist of our time. Frenzy’s sound is unique which sets him apart from fellow upcoming and established artists, he writes music with meaning and an uplifting message.
He has begun making his mark in the Nigerian music scene, with  one of his singles titled “Blessings” putting him on the map and  getting him nominated for several awards. With the entertainment industry starting to take note of his talent, Frenzy recently won two awards for his contribution to the development of the Nigerian entertainment industry. Frenzy is one artist to look out for as he is well on his way to becoming a household name in the entertainment  industry and one of the best talents to ever come out of Nigeria.
