C&R is a South African independent Hip Hop duo formed by Khuliso Mulaudzi, known as KoolB and Fanie Phanuel Mashigo, known as Ray Mcee.

The duo is taking serious action with their debut single “Fondness”. Fondness is a love jam which contains hip hop lyrics, dance hall elements and African rhythms. It is produced by KoolB, mixed and mastered by one of the biggest sound engineers in SA @Zephbeats.

Khuliso Mulaudzi is Well Known as Coolb/Koob Exclusive, born on the 16th of September 1998. He is a songwriter, singer, record producer and a beat maker. He was also raised in a semi township in Tembisa named Phomolong. While growing up as a child, Coolb had always been drawn to music. He started belting out cool beats and often developed unique rhythms throughout his school years starting from seventh grade. Friends and family realized that he had a natural talent as he performed in gatherings and at school in random performances. But Coolb never gave music a thought so as to convert his talent into a viable career.

Their first encounter was when RayMcee was looking for a recording studio.  In the year 2012 Coolb & RayMcee decided to start narrating their real life experiences through recording music, that’s when RayMcee joined Coolb and they decided to join forces and began dedicating themselves to growing their skills together.

The influence of the Hip Hop culture played a huge role in the creation of the duo. Together they started releasing songs like Brown Dash, Siko Lami & Switch Up Positions. They have performed in various hip hop shows regional which resulted in their musical connections as well as them sharing more knowledge with regards to the music industry.

FONDNESS will be out on digital stores on 21 June 2019.
